Are these really old fruit crates?

Yes, we've had these classics in our range for many years. They're genuine, original wooden crates from various fruit growers in Europe.

Will the boxes be revised?

We inspect each individual box before shipping. The boxes are thoroughly cleaned and tested for stability. Of course, they retain their charm. However, a little dust or an old apple print is still quite possible. :-)

Are the boxes still stable?

Absolutely. Since the crates were actually full of apples, for example, they were designed for stability. The crates are nailed rather than riveted, which makes high load-bearing capacity possible.

Can you build furniture on it?

Of course. Each box is unique, but each has the same basic dimensions of approximately 50x40x30cm. They can be easily screwed together, stacked, or simply put together.
